When you’re a kid, they start showing you pictures of animals and teaching you their names. You’re still pretty young when you’ve seen all of the major ones. There are endless variations of birds and fish and lizards and stuff, but at a certain age you stop seeing entirely novel animals.

My dog has not had that education, so she regularly encounters entirely new form factors.

I like to catalog the ones she sees, maybe like merit badges she can earn as she goes. These are slowly being made into 7” aluminum and resin panels.
