Baby Butt Cream From France
So, apparently using wipes on babies isn’t the norm all over the world. Nico Cherry is a French chemical engineer and young father. He told me that in France, most people use cleansing creams instead, because they clean, moisturize, and protect all at once. Not joking, that’s what he said.
Nico started the emerging brand Noleo to bring French baby butt cream to the US market, with an added improvement of using only six, all-natural ingredients
Better Than Real
Nico had asked me to help him with some packaging and marketing material. At the time, he’d been working on getting product photography done. The photos he gave me were good, but they were hard to work with. You can see in the comparison above that you get issues even with high quality photos. In Noleo’s case, the freedom to use close ups in marketing material would be really advantageous.
I reworked his graphics entirely using clean vector files. Now Nico had versatile product shots that he could use in any context. Further, they were artificially perfect - color, details, and no dust or other artifacts.
Immediate Use
Noleo isn’t available in grocery chains or pharmacies yet. Nico is often out preaching his gospel at trade shows and conventions. He had a set up, but the graphics were pretty rough. We reimagined what they could be, using his selling points and testimonials to create third party credibility. Eight foot banners are also a prime example of why graphics that can scale to any size without and loss in clarity are so valuable.
Instruction Cards
One challenge Noleo has is education. Parents in the US are used to dealing with mess in certain ways. Switching to another method requires info and retraining. We created some cards to include with sample packs and in his larger retail packages.
